New Scholarship Created in Honor of Gov. Cecil Andrus

As a state, the most important battle we will wage is for the talent who can move our workplaces and economy forward. Investing in the talent we already have within our borders is paramount to these efforts. Keeping Idaho’s best and brightest in our state, and supporting them as they seek the education they need to succeed in a 21st Century workforce, is the greatest gift we can give to future generations.

This calling has been at the core of the Idaho Governor’s Cup Scholarship program since its founding in 1974. Governor Cecil D. Andrus recognized the need for a program that carried the weight of the state’s highest office to shine the spotlight on Idaho’s kids and their potential.  more...


Premier Technology Awards Scholarships to Four Local Graduating Seniors; Children of its Employees

Blackfoot Idaho, May 2017 – Premier Technology, Inc. announces the 2017 recipients of its Employee Dependent Scholarship, sponsored by the company. Premier awarded four scholarships to children of its employees who are graduating from high school this year and plan to begin their college careers this fall. Premier is proud to support the educational and future career goals of our next generation.

Kayli Dunahoo will graduate from Highland High School on May 26, 2017. She plans to begin studying Elementary Education at Brigham Young University–Idaho in Rexburg this fall.

Stephanie Henry will graduate from Rigby High School on May 24, 2017. She plans to begin studying Elementary Education at Idaho State University in Pocatello this fall.

Colter Simpson will graduate from Century High School on May 26, 2017. He plans to begin studying Biology, with an emphasis in Ecology and Conservation at Idaho State University in Pocatello this fall.

Kaden Hagler will graduate from Pocatello High School on May 26, 2017. He plans to begin studying Energy Systems Instrumentation Engineering Technology at Idaho State University’s College of Technology in Pocatello this fall.
